About AAMR: Academy of Aero Modelling & Robotics

Welcome to the Academy of Aero and Robotics, your gateway to the fascinating worlds of aeromodelling and robotics. We are a passionate community of aviation and technology enthusiasts dedicated to inspiring creativity and innovation in our students. Our team of experts brings a wealth of knowledge and experience, ensuring a top-notch learning experience for all.
Our mission is to be a leading academy, empowering individuals to explore the skies through aeromodelling and delve into the cutting-edge realm of robotics. We strive to foster a culture of curiosity, critical thinking, and hands-on learning. Our vision is to create skilled aviators and robotics enthusiasts who can make a positive impact in the fields of aviation and technology.

Why Academy of Aero Modelling & Robotics?

The institute was established to promote Basic and Advanced Aeromodelling, Model rocketry, and Robotics among school students. It has conducted training programs, workshops, tech festivals, and many more in different schools and colleges, and around 50,000 students have some ideas about Aeromodelling, Model Rocketry, robotics, and how to get a career in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics).

Aero Modelling

In the Aero Modeling part, students begin with the simple word “FLY” which is the most interesting feature of living beings that every child observes in the first sight to a bird hovering in the sky. They learn about the history and efforts involved in the development and huge expansion of the world of aviation right from Leonardo’s scratch of the first Glider to the 21st century Dreamliner and Supersonic Fighter Jets.

They get hands-on learning experience, Use of tools, designing and engineering practice, and visualizing and converting theoretical concepts into 3D Models. Where a middle school-level student will be designing and flying model airplanes, a stimulating science project, which sometimes seems and appears interesting but challenging project to adults also.

Robotics

In the robotics part student will discover the science and technology of the future; they will learn where robots came from, how they work, how they are being used today, and how they may be used in the future. They will learn about early breakthroughs in technology, from the loom to the vacuum tube, and how they paved the way for modern computers and robots. They will be introduced to men and women behind the latest robotics research, as well as scientists, engineers, artists, and inventors who used robotics in their own fields.

By introducing kids in middle school and high school to robotics, they are getting a head start on becoming researchers, inventors, and designers themselves. And as they learn about and become comfortable with technology and science, they may go on to find new ways to use robotics to make the world a better place to live.

Testimonials

I would like to convey my best wishes to Mr. M F Haque, founder of Academy of Aero Modelling & Robotics for his wonderful initiative of bringing out scientific temperament & creativity among the children.

In many cases, we observe that the students do not find Science and Mathematics interesting, and therefore they find the subjects very difficult. It is appreciable that through many practical tasks and experiments, AAMR is trying to generate the interest in science among the schoolchildren.

The organization is dedicated to developing the creative minds of schoolchildren so that, in the future, they can be part of the innovative, creative, and skilled workforce of the country.

I wish a bright and successful future.

Mr. Mahbubul Hoque

Chancellor, , University of Science & Technology Meghalaya.

The endeavor of Mr. M F Haque for teaching Robotics, aeromodelling, and Automation Skills and technologies to a wide variety of learners, ranging from kids to graduate students, is really appreciable.

He had devised interesting techniques, curriculum, and content to provide hands-on practice in system building, science basics, and robotic principles. And these are suitable for learners of different stages.

I have personally witnessed his demonstrations and sessions, and visualize that his skills, efforts, and resources will be beneficial to our students for creating scientific & technological temperament towards furthering future education and career.

Director In Charge, GUIST, HoD, DIT, Gauhati University

Innovation and culture of innovation are the hallmarks of progress of any nation. The decade 2010–2020 has been declared as the Decade of Innovation in India to inspire the culture of innovation.

If you have a brainstorming meeting and you think of several new ideas, then you have displayed creativity, but there is no innovation until something gets implemented.

Somebody has to take a risk and deliver something for a creative idea to be turned into an innovation. This risk has already been initiated by AAMR in the North Eastern Region.

I appreciate the initiative of AAMR in inspiring young students to develop critical thinking and a creative mindset to identify problems in society and to provide innovative solutions for them. Hands-on learning for young minds is essential for building the future science and technology task force.

I wish AAMR a grand success in all the activities being carried out for a culture of out-of-the box thinking in the North Eastern Region.

Project Coordinator, Regional Science Center, Guwahati.

This is to certify that Mr. M F Haque, Founder of AAMR, was the key and only resource person in the workshop on Robotics Activity conducted at the Regional Science Center, Guwahati, held from 28th to 30th March, 2017.

Technical persons from each Science Center situated in all seven North Eastern States (Assam, Arunachal Pradesh, Manipur, Meghalaya, Mizoram, Nagaland, and Tripura) took part in the workshop.

Mr. Haque interacted with them with hands on activities and trained them to understand how to make robots with programming with LEGO ™ MINDSTORM ™ EV3 Kits.

He has been associated with conducting such workshops at this center for the last 4 years.

His demonstrations and hands-on activities were really remarkable and enthused the participants towards an understanding of Robots, especially with LEGO Mindstorm EV3 Kits.

We are looking forward to his presence in the future to enrich the lives of more people interested in the field of robotics.
